Hi Everybody, Here is a Guitar Strap for a local Christian Artist. It's the first thing of the leather bench in a while. He wanted it un lined, so I made it out of 10oz Herman Oak & it's 49" to the center hole. After tooling I rubbed in a good coat of Aussie conditioner, to make it more supple. After it dried over nite, I dyed the curved basket weave areas. After drying, I buffed it up with a soft brush, applied a NeatLac finish, edged, slicked the edges & sealed the backside. Thanks for looking,,, Ed the"BearMan"

Longtime lurker, rare poster... I've been pretending to play guitar for many more years than leathercraft, but by combining the two over the past ten years it has put a big smile on my face, and faces of a number of friends too. I combine all kinds of materials and lots of leather to create sturdy and comfortable guitar slings. It has been mostly just a hobby/side gig for a number of years but the Covid situation got me laid off my regular job in March so this is becoming more important to my family in the past few months. Some photos of my craft... beaded on leather base Game of thrones "House Stark" edition woven leather, great texture, ju…

I enjoyed the movie “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs” and wanted to make myself a guitar strap with some of the images from the title character’s story. I decided rather than try to carve Tim Blake Nelson‘s face, I would draw him as a skeleton since carving faces is much harder. It still has a ways to go and is just a work in progress right now.

My grandson recently decided that he was going to learn to play the bass guitar, so while his other grandparents bought him a guitar, I took the opportunity to try my hand at making him a strap for it. I think it turned out pretty good. At least he is happy with it. /dwight

A friend of mine is going through treatment for Multiple Myeloma and having a pretty rough time of it right now. One of the things that helps him cope is playing the guitar, so I decided to make a new guitar strap for him. I've seen a couple of other projects on here that used the Sergey Neskromniy dragon scale stamps and I really liked that, so I decided to give that a try here. Maybe it will help him to slay this particular dragon. /dwight

I was commissioned to build this for a customer in Mississippi. Rattlesnake inlay guitar strap with suede lining. I’m pleased with how it turned out but always welcome constructive criticism!

I got a random message from a gentlemen wanting a coal mine theme guitar strap for his dad for Christmas. I don't really take orders, but I thought this could be fun since I use to be a coal miner.
